Nothing quite like a nice Saturday evening spent at home studying the intricacies of dog urine. We vet students sure know how to have a good time (me more than most, I'm sure).
Thankfully, things are looking up now that it's the weekend. It's weird how blogging about stress tends to decrease it...

have your learned anything about the dangers of beagle pee? i feel like one time i read about beagle pee being dangerous because they get some sort of thing from a racoon, and it can go in your brain
ReplyDeleteor maybe not :)

We have not learned anything in particular about Beagle pee, but Beagles like any other dog can get leptospirosis which is bad. :-) And it is shed in their urine. I don't know if raccoons get it? It's a zoonotic disease and lots of different mammals and get it. Sort of eats up your kidneys and liver and stuff. Not so good for you. We did learn a little bit about crystals - and you are correct, they are bad!
